Dr Jayne McEwan

Jayne completed the Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours at the University of Melbourne in 2002. From 1998 to 2002 Jayne worked at the Royal Dental Hospital in Carlton, The St Albans Dental Clinic and volunteered with The Royal Flying Doctors providing dental care to remote communities outside of Broken Hill NSW.

Jayne has been providing dental care to the Colac community for the last 13 years. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with a particular interest in children’s dentistry. Jayne strives to complete professional continuing education throughout the year to help bring as many dental services as possible to Colac. She was born in the rural town of Ararat in Victoria and is committed to providing quality dental care to people in regional areas of Victoria.

Jayne and her husband James, live in Colac on a small property. They enjoy running a hobby farm with Dorper sheep and cattle. Jayne’s other passion is pure breed dogs, showing Papillons since 1990.

Dr Nura Kharoofa

Nora completed a Science Bachelor Majoring in Biotechnology at Deakin University in Melbourne and then went on to complete her Honors degree in Breast Cancer research, researching the affects of Interleukin 6 in the metastasis of Breast Cancer. In 2013 Nora completed her Bachelor of Oral Health Science and Masters of Dentistry at Latrobe University Bendigo. Nora currently enjoys all aspects of General Dentistry and is eager to enhance her skills in the fields of oral surgery, root canal treatment and cosmetic dentistry. Outside of work Nora loves to spend time with her husband and 5 year old son Sami.

Dr Stella Lee

Stella obtained her Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours from the University of Melbourne. Upon graduation, she partook in an internship program in various community dental clinics throughout metropolitan, regional and rural Victoria, where she gained further skills in minor oral surgery, and management of trauma and medically compromised patients.

Stella firmly believes that oral health is fundamental to general well-being and quality of life. She endeavours to provide comprehensive dental care with a personalised and preventive focus. Dental visits can be scary and stressful for many children and adults alike. With a gentle and caring approach, Stella is dedicated to help her nervous patients walk out with a confident, transformed smile.

In her spare time, Stella loves to run outdoors, sing and play music, go on delicious food adventures and give back to the community. In 2012, she was privileged to join a dedicated team of volunteers in the Rotary Australia-Vietnam Dental Health Project, delivering primary dental care and oral health education to children in rural Vietnam. She also enjoys attending numerous continuing professional development courses throughout the year to keep up-to-date with the latest advances in technology and evidence-based dentistry.

Dr Audrey Irish

BSc (Melb) DMD (Sydney)

Audrey grew up in Melbourne where she completed the Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne before moving to Sydney where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Sydney. Since 2012, Audrey has worked at the Sydney Dental Hospital and Westmead Center of Oral Health providing a range of dental treatments to patients.

Audrey has a particular interest in oral surgery, dentures and performing root canals. Audrey is very community minded and has an interest in public health and preventative dentistry. She endeavors to answer all your questions and to make sure your visit is enjoyable as possible. In her spare time Audrey likes running, coffee and relaxing at the beach.

Dr Tiana Melo Howard

BSc BDSc (Hons) UWA

Tiana graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2012 with a Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours, and previously completed a Bachelor of Science.

Tiana is an active member in the dental community, serving on the committee for the ADA regional group in the area. She has volunteered with the Kimberley Dental Team in 2012 and 2014, which provides treatment to Indigenous children and their families in remote WA.

Tiana has a particular interest in endodontics (yes, the dreaded root canal!) as well as general family dentistry, with a strong focus on prevention and education to minimise dental disease; her gentle manner helping put patients at ease.

Tiana grew up in Perth, but has swapped the sunshine and white sandy beaches for the fresh climate of Victoria. She loves exploring country Victoria and has recently discovered snow!
